American participation
The idea to make this race came from Leo Jensen reading about the National 24 Hour Challenge in Michigan. After deciding that we had to make a similar race in Baghjulet, Leo contacted Skip and Diane Obermeyer and asked lots of questions. One result was that 6 riders was invited to Michigan to participate in 2005. Rob Schaller, veteran in N24HC, participated in the danish race 2 weeks before the race in Michigan and took care of us as our team crew. Thanks again... :o)In 2006 and 2007, Drew Winne from Virginia has participated in the race.
